Why I Started Writing These Notes

Over the years, I’ve realized I have a habit that never really switches off.

I observe.

Not in a scientific way. Just quietly noticing things how people behave, how they react, the little decisions they make without even realizing it, well that includes me!

Sometimes it’s in a supermarket aisle.
Sometimes at an airport check-in counter.
Sometimes at a cafe where no one notices they’re being watched, not in a creepy way of course.

Human behavior fascinates me.

What goes through someone’s mind when they choose one product over another?
Why do some experiences feel effortless while others feel frustrating?
Why do people stay loyal to certain brands, places, or even routines?

Professionally, I work in the world of loyalty, CRM, customer experience & digital transformation, so I spend a lot of time thinking about these questions.

But the curiosity didn’t start at work. It started from everyday life.

From watching people.

Some of my favorite moments are actually very simple ones, sitting at a bar in the middle of the afternoon with a cold beer, watching the room slowly fill up with different characters, some weird, some interesting, some you want to say hello to. Having noon drinks with good people at a familiar place, where conversations flow easily and time moves a little slower.

Travelling alone in a new city, walking through unfamiliar streets with no real plan, just observing how a place breathes.

Or finding a quiet corner somewhere and getting lost in a good book. Those moments create space to thin, and thinking often turns into notes.

These notes are simply a place to capture some of those thoughts.

Some will be about loyalty and customer behavior.
Some will come from travel.
Some will just be reflections on life and the little moments that make it interesting.

And sometimes, they will be about Maaya.

Maaya Parvathi is my dog, or i should address her as my child, and she has probably taught me some of the most important lessons about life.

Love without expectations.
Be present in the moment.

Watching her reminds me that the best things in life are often the least complicated.

Life is actually very simple — we’re the ones who complicate it.

This space isn’t meant to be a perfect blog or a polished publication.

It’s simply a notebook.

A place to write things down before the moment passes.

Just a note.
